Data categories
We process name, email, timezone, language and notification settings; session and technical data such as IP address and User-Agent; journal answers, check-in values and notes; and payment identifiers, amounts, statuses, and subscription parameters.
Purposes and legal grounds
Data is processed to register and authenticate users, provide journal and notification features, generate requested AI analysis, accept payments, provide support, secure the service, and comply with law. Processing is based on the user’s consent, performance of the service agreement, and legal obligations, as applicable.
Your journal data
Journal entries and check-ins are personal by default, are not sold, and are used to provide the service and user-requested analysis. Access is restricted to what is necessary to operate and support the service.
AI analysis
Only when the user requests analysis, relevant journal answers, check-in values and notes from the current and previous 30-day periods, and matching answers from up to five previous years are sent through ProxyAPI to Google for processing by google/gemini-2.5-flash-lite. This may involve cross-border transfer. The generated analysis and token usage are stored in the account.
Payments
Payments and recurring charges are processed by YooKassa. Back To You stores the payment identifier, amount, status, and the identifier of the saved payment method used for renewals. Bank card details are entered on the payment provider’s page and are not stored by Back To You.
Cookies and analytics
The app uses an HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in securely. With your separate consent, the backtoyou.ru landing page uses Yandex Metrica and Webvisor. They may process cookie and localStorage identifiers, IP address, device and browser information, referrer, visited pages, clicks, and session activity. Analytics does not load before consent. You can refuse it or withdraw consent at any time through Cookie settings in the landing page footer.
Storage and deletion
Data is stored while the account and service relationship are active and afterward only for periods required by law or needed to resolve claims. The user may request access, correction, blocking, deletion, or withdrawal of consent by email. Some data may still be retained where processing without consent is required or permitted by law.
